WHO WE ARE
Castle of Refuge Foundation
OUR IMPACT
Restoring Lives, One Home at a Time
Our programs address immediate needs while championing long-term solutions — from safe housing to skills development — empowering families to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Each initiative is a step toward systemic change, creating pathways to safety, stability, and self-reliance.
Belly Padding Movement
We pad a belly at a time by giving out foodstuff that would last weeks, though not a life time. This is done twice a year.
Fix a Shelter
We fix temporary shelters and renovate deteriorated houses. Beneficiaries of this project are women, especially widows.
Christmas in October
We bring the love and cheer of Christmas to those experiencing homelessness, especially children, at a random time of the year.
The Street Store
Everyone loves a change of wardrobe. We give those experiencing homelessness a shopping experience, free of charge.
Street to Home
This is the core of our mandate. To take people off the streets into their homes. Giving them an opportunity to live dignified lives off the streets
One Child at a Time
Every child deserves to be in school and not on the streets.

Volunteering with the Castle of Refuge has been a blessing. Although, I have actively worked in the development sector for many years, the plight of homelessness in Nigeria was alien to me. CORF is working within a space with limited spotlight and making a tremendous difference in the lives of these grossly underserved group while bringing their stories to limelight.
